Following on from the previous link up with Nigel Sylvester, Jordan presents a fresh Nike Air Ship, ‘Every Game’ which although may resemble the acclaimed BMX rider’s rendition, instead pays homage to Michael Jordan and his North Carolina practice shorts that he’d don underneath his NBA uniform, believed to be lucky after leading the North Carolina Tar Heels to a national championship in 1982. Dressed in a hairy Summit White suede, Dune Red hits the Swoosh, eyestays and heels in leather, crackled for a vintage touch, while signing off this superstition-inspired sneaker is ‘Every Game’ embroidery, a nod to the shorts that accompanied him throughout much of his career.
